Privacy and Cookie Policy

Privacy Policy pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) and other applicable regulations.

PRIVACY NOTICE (simplified)

The purpose of this privacy notice is to provide maximum transparency regarding the information this website collects and how it is used.

In compliance with the obligations deriving from national legislation (Legislative Decree of 30 June 2003 No. 196, Personal Data Protection Code, and subsequent amendments) and European legislation (European Regulation on the protection of personal data No. 679/2016, GDPR), this website respects and protects the privacy of visitors and users, making every possible and proportionate effort to avoid infringing users’ rights.

This website does not publish advertisements, nor does it use data for advertising purposes, but it does use third-party services to improve the usability of the site. These third parties may collect user data and use it to send personalized ads on other websites. However, this website makes every possible effort to protect user privacy and minimize the collection of personal data. For example, the site uses YouTube videos in some cases, which are set not to send cookies (and thus not collect data) until the user plays the video. You may notice that, instead of the video, there is only a placeholder. The site may also use social plugins to simplify article sharing on social networks. These plugins are configured so that they only send cookies (and possibly collect data) after the user clicks on the plugin.

As a matter of information, it should be noted that managing cookies is complicated, both for the website operator (who may not be able to manage third-party cookies properly) and for the user (who may block cookies essential for the site to function). Therefore, a better and simpler way to protect privacy is to use anti-tracking tools, which block tracking by third-party sites (see -> Protect your privacy online. To this end, we recommend using Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin)

For more information on the processing of personal data, you can read the full privacy notice below.
